Australians rely on Medicare, our system of universal healthcare. But for many Australians, dental care and mental health care – which are not included in Medicare – are out of reach.
Major subsequent problems then occur when people’s untreated health conditions become worse with increased hospital costs and workforce problems, causing major pain and suffering.
Your petitioners request that the Senate:
Introduce and pass legislation to fully include dental and mental health care in Medicare.
