Dr Adam Butler has been an active member of the Canada Bay Greens since joining the group in 2007 and has lived in Concord West since 2003.
Adam is an mechanical engineer with a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and is passionate about seeking practical, real and long term solutions to society’s problems. A major shortcoming is the lack of systems thinking in guiding local decision making. Systems thinking considers causes and effects and the relationships between action and consequence. Our local community is feeling the effects of unbridled, poorly considered over-development and in the long run we will all pay but especially our children.
Adam has been a candidate in past State and Federal elections and says politicians are taking us backwards. If elected to council he aims to do things differently and wishes to ensure a sustainable future for Canada Bay residents and their children.
